About Me
Hi! My name is Kambrah, the owner and heart behind Enchanted & Planted. What started as a love for plants, crystals, & all things a little magical slowly turned into a small, licensed home nursery here in Maine. I am especially obsessed with rare tropical plants, Hoyas, Alocasia, Anthurium, & most of all, Dioscorea... which is probably why I keep running out of places to put them!
I'm a stay-at-home mom, plant collector, and the one-person team behind the plants, packaging, photos, customer messages, and all the little magical details that go into your order.
I started Enchanted & Planted because I wanted to create the kind of plant shop that I would want to purchase form myself: unique plants, honest information, thoughtful packaging, and a little bit of magic along the way.

My Grow Media
Most plants are grown in an airy, well-draining mix designed to provide airflow to the roots while still retaining enough moisture for healthy growth.
My all-purpose mix typically contains coco coir, perlite, horticultural charcoal, worm castings, & organic forest matter to further strengthen & support healthy root systems. It works well for many tropical plants, including Dioscorea, Hoya, Philodendron, Anthurium, Alocasia, Epipremnum, Monstera, & more!
While I occasionally make small adjustments for certain species or growth stages, this mix serves as the foundation for the majority of plants grown in my nursery.
My Grow Conditions
Plants are grown in my licensed home nursery in Maine under full spectrum grow lights with temperatures typically maintained between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity ranging from 60-80%.
I focus on providing stable conditions, good airflow, and consistent care to encourage healthy growth and strong root systems. Plants receive routine preventative pest management and are monitored regularly for health and growth.
My Plants
Plants offered by Enchanted & Planted come from a combination of my personal collection, propagation stock grown in my nursery, trusted growers within the United States, and selected imports from reputable growers in Thailand.
I do not flip or resell fresh imports. Any imported plants are added to my personal collection and grown out as mother plants before being propagated. This allows me to observe their health, growth habits, and stability before offering offspring for sale.
Whenever possible, I prefer to only sell plants that have established roots and are actively growing. I do not list plants for sale until I feel they are healthy enough to thrive in a new home, whether that means a strong root system, new growth, or both.
My goal is to provide healthy, well cared for plants that I would be excited to receive myself. Here at Enchanted & Planted, I pride myself in the fact that I am a grower, not a flipper.
Shipping Information
I take extreme care when packing and shipping your plants, and shipping speed is an important part of keeping them happy during their journey. I offer multiple shipping options through UPS and FedEx so you can choose the service that works.
For Live Plant Orders
Live plants are shipped using a service appropriate for live-plant transportation and the current weather conditions. My standard live-plant shipping option includes a 3-Day UPS service and is covered by my Live Arrival Guarantee when all guarantee requirements are met.
Faster Options are available at checkout, including:

- UPS Next Day Air
- FedEx 2-Day
- FedEx Express Saver
Important: UPS Ground and FedEx Ground are available as shipping options because they may be appropriate for candles, accessories, and other non-live plant orders. However, Ground services should not be selected for live-plant orders, particularly for higher value plants or during periods of extreme temperatures.
If a ground service is selected for an order containing live plants, I will need to adjust the shipping method before your order ships to protect your plants and maintain eligibility for my Live Arrival Guarantee. If an adjustment results in an additional shipping charge, I will contact you before your order ships. If the selected service is not appropriate and we cannot reach an arrangement, the order may be cancelled/refunded.
Standard Shipping for LIVE PLANTS UPS 3 Day Select - $17.95
All website orders for live plants are shipped using UPS 3-Day or FedEx 3-Day Shipping. This is a flat rate of $17.95. I do not offer Ground or economy shipping FOR LIVE PLANTS at checkout because I want to keep transit times as short as possible, especially for rare and more sensitive plants.
Free UPS 3 Day Shipping on Orders over $125
Orders totaling $125 or more automatically qualify for free 3-Day shipping.
Need your plant there a little faster? A 2-Day shipping upgrade will be available at checkout for an additional fee.
I especially recommend upgrading to 2-Day for Dioscorea species, highly variegated plants, or other particularly sensitive and high-value plants. While 3-Day shipping is generally suitable, carrier delays can occasionally happen, and choosing faster transit helps minimize the time your plant spends in a box.
Plant Accessories, Candles, & Other Non-Plant Orders
Candles, plant accessories, and other non-live plant products may be shipped using UPS GROUND or FEDEX Ground when appropriate. This allows me to select the most practical and economical carrier for those orders.
Live Arrival Guarantee
I want your plants to arrive safely and ready to settle into their new home.
Eligible plants are covered by my live arrival guarantee when all shipping and unboxing requirements are followed. If a plant arrives deceased or with significant damage that qualifies for a claim, please contact me within 2 hours of delivery with your continuous unboxing video and clear photos.
The live arrival guarantee does not cover minor shipping damages, minor shipping stress, cosmetic damages, delayed acclimation, leaf loss, or changes that occur after delivery. Plants are living organisms and may naturally experience some degree of stress during transit and acclimation, leaf loss, or changes that occur after delivery. Shipping delays causes by the carrier, weather, or circumstances outside of my control do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Carrier Delays
Carrier delays are unfortunately outside of my control. Selecting 2-Day shipping reduces the intended transit time but does not guarantee a carrier will not experience a delay.
Weather Protection
During periods of extreme heat and cold, I will hold your plant(s) until I deem it is safe to ship. This is usually when night and day temperatures are over 40 degrees F for at least a 7-day stretch. Plants are living things, so sometimes Mother Nature gets a vote.
Basic insulation is included with your order when needed at no additional cost. During colder weather, heat packs may be recommended or required depending on your destination and the forecast. Heat packs will be available on the website to add to your order for an additional $5.
Please note that weather protection can help protect your plant, but it cannot eliminate the risks associated with extreme temperatures or carrier delays. Ultimately, ordering plants during times of extreme temperatures is at your own risk.
Packing & Tracking
Every plant is carefully inspected and packaged with its journey in mind. You'll receive tracking information via your email address once your order ships so you can keep an eye on its progress.
Please bring your package in as soon as possible after delivery and avoid leaving plants outside in extreme temperatures.
For the best possible arrival, please make sure your shipping address is correct and that someone can receive the package promptly.
Your plants spend enough time traveling. Let's get them home as quickly and safely as possible.
Note:
At this time, I do not ship internationally or to P.O. Boxes. Shipping to CA, HI, AK is at your own risk. I can ship bare root in moss on some plants to avoid confiscation. UPS 3 Day Select isn't offered in all locations. This is up to the shipping carrier and is entirely out of my control). In these instances, plants will ship UPS 2nd Day Air at the buyer's expense.
Returns & Refunds
Because plants are living and perishable, all plant sales are final. Due to quality and safety concerns, substrate sales are final. I do not accept returns on plants or substrates.
Please read the information below carefully before placing your order.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
I carefully inspect and package every order before it leaves the nursery. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with an issue that may have occurred during transit, please contact me as soon as possible.
A continuous, unedited unboxing video is required for any damage, shipping, or live-arrival claim. The video must begin before the package is opened and continue through the entire unboxing process (no exceptions, so make sure your phone or camera is charged before opening, please).
Claims must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery and include clear photos and the required unboxing video.
Plant Accessories
Returns and refunds are available only for plant accessories that are unopened and unused. Accessories must be returned in their original condition. Plants and growing substrates are not eligible for return or refund.
Approved Returns
If a return is approved, I will provide a prepaid return shipping label. The buyer is responsible for both the original shipping cost and return shipping cost. These shipping costs will be deducted from any refund issues once the returned item is received and inspected.

Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before they have been prepared for shipping.
Once an order has entered the shipping process, cancellations can no longer be guaranteed.
Because I begin preparing orders based on the information available at the time, please contact me as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
